I had been trying to get the kids up north to Grandma's at the Lake and finally found a few days last week. Our schedule has been very busy lately with our home addition and Lexi starting Kindergarten so I was very happy when our schedule opened up!
On our drive up, we stopped at the museum in Antigo to see the train. This was the first time we have ever stopped to see the train and the kids were very excited, especially Jackson!
It wouldn't be a complete trip up north if we didn't visit Markie and her beautiful horses.

Here she is feeding her favorite horse, Gypsy. She is a beautiful brown and white Painted horse. Lexi has loved visiting Gypsy ever since she was a baby. As she gets older, she has a harder time saying goodbye to her.
We were able to see the second half of the Ski Show on Wednesday night. Jackson was thrilled with all the jumps the boys were doing. He kept saying, "Mommy, I can do that!"
Lexi thought all the girls were pretty in their costumes but she didn't want to ski. "Mom, I am better just watching and clapping for them." :)
My brother Tim and his girlfriend Leslie have moved to Colorado Springs. A few days before they left we all went out to dinner. My amazing cousin, Joanna, was kind enough to stay behind with the lovies so it could be an Adults Only dinner at the Butler Inn! YUM YUM!!
