Still able to flash a smile! Don't be surprised to see this one on the upcoming Christmas card!
The Scene of the Crime!!!
Jackson was walking toward his bookshelf when he tripped...on...well...nothing, actually; just had two left feet at the moment, I guess! He landed just perfectly on the corner of the wall! It was just awful!
He was very brave while they stitched him up and Brian was in the room with him the whole time. I stayed outside the room with Lexi and we both cried a little! He was a bit scared of what was going on and he did cry/scream a bit because of it. But once they were done he got a little stuffed animal from one nurse, a Popsicle from another and stickers from yet another! And then he was happy!
He did sleep good that afternoon!
About five (5) days later the stitches were removed! I didn't take long and he sat there very still while the doctor snipped and snipped, one by one!
Let the healing begin!
This is our new Dutchmen Pop-up Camper that we purchased used about a month ago. The kids think it is a playhouse just for them!
We also brought along their bikes, which was close to the best highlight of the whole trip for them! They would jump on their bikes, cruise up to the playground for a few hours and then jump back on the bikes to cruise back to the camper! It was great!
What a great time we had together; I cannot wait until next summer!!
