Last weekend we asked/begged my good friend Sarah to snap a few family photos of us for Holiday cards as well as a few five-year-old pictures of Lexi. It was a cold day but we made the best of it! Sarah did a fantastic job; we couldn't be happier with how they came out! I am only allowing myself to post a few of my favorites; there are so many more that I just love!!
I hope you enjoy! Thank you, Sarah! We love you to pieces!!

About two weeks ago (yes I know it has been a while) we took the kids to Monkey Joe's. It is a great place that is indoors and the kids can run and jump on the big inflatable castles without getting hurt!! And the adults can play on them too, which I love!! :)

I have included a small clip of the kids and myself sliding down one of slides!

Most of you know already about Jackson's little accident last weekend but for those who don't, here you go:
Jackson had his first visit the E.R. last Saturday morning. Nine (9) stitches total!! Everyone says it's what having a boy is all about! Now that we have gotten past this first incident, maybe the rest won't be so bad...
...I doubt it!!
I just love this look on his face; I am pretty sure Brian has given me this look a few times! :)

Still able to flash a smile! Don't be surprised to see this one on the upcoming Christmas card!

The Scene of the Crime!!!

Jackson was walking toward his bookshelf when he tripped...on...well...nothing, actually; just had two left feet at the moment, I guess! He landed just perfectly on the corner of the wall! It was just awful!

He was very brave while they stitched him up and Brian was in the room with him the whole time. I stayed outside the room with Lexi and we both cried a little! He was a bit scared of what was going on and he did cry/scream a bit because of it. But once they were done he got a little stuffed animal from one nurse, a Popsicle from another and stickers from yet another! And then he was happy!

He did sleep good that afternoon!

About five (5) days later the stitches were removed! I didn't take long and he sat there very still while the doctor snipped and snipped, one by one!

Let the healing begin!

About three weeks ago, we took the kids camping at a Jellystone Campground in Caledonia, which is about 25 minutes from our house! This was our first time at this campground and we will definitely be coming back!! We had just a wonderful time!

This is our new Dutchmen Pop-up Camper that we purchased used about a month ago. The kids think it is a playhouse just for them!

We also brought along their bikes, which was close to the best highlight of the whole trip for them! They would jump on their bikes, cruise up to the playground for a few hours and then jump back on the bikes to cruise back to the camper! It was great!

This is The Jumping Pillow and, by far, one of the coolest thing I have ever done! I think Brian and I had as much fun on this thing as the kids....and all you have to do is jump! It's a no-brainer!

What a great time we had together; I cannot wait until next summer!!

Zoo Trip

I took the kids to the zoo about two weeks ago and completely forgot about the pictures is our little digital camera. So, here are a few!! I took quite a few of the animals that were out and about. But I realized this was probably my third or fourth post about the zoo and, let's be honest, how many times do you need to see the same gorilla or elephant? :) How about just cute pics of the kids instead? Enjoy! :)
