Just a few Thanksgiving photos from Three Lakes.
I find it amazing how much Jacks and Riley look alike once you get them next to each other. It is so obvious that they are related in some way or another.
Those strong Halyburton genes are taking over!!

This year Lexi's birthday happened to fall on the day before Thanksgiving so we celebrated it up north in Three Lakes with Brian's family. Lexi received some wonderful books from Uncle Dustin and Aunt Tricia. Grandma and Grandpa Halyburton gave Lexi her first piece of jewelry; a white gold necklace with a heart charm. She looks so grown up! She loved all her gifts and we had a wonderful time with the family!

My great friend and old college roommate, Toni, sent Lexi a birthday gift this week. It is a great book that shows all the colors of the rainbow. Lexi was "reading" the book to me this morning and showing me all the colors!

It is hard to believe how quickly time passes!! It did not seem that long ago that Lexi was just a wee-little baby and now she is 3 years old! Tomorrow, the 21st, is her birthday but we are leaving town this evening for the Thanksgiving Holiday and will not return until Saturday. I wanted to get a few pics of her posted before we left. These were just taken this morning. Lexi love books and we are starting to teach how to read. She has one book that is her favorite called, "Brown Bear Brown Bear; What Do You See?" She knows all the animals in that book and she loves it so much that she sleeps with the book almost every night!

I saw this on my sister-in-law's blog and thought it was great so I had to do it for our kids! Regardless of what all of you may think, this clearly states that both children look more like their Mama...and right they should!! :)
