One of the kids favorite Christmas gifts this year was new scooters! We took them over to our friend's very large garage so they could practice! Lexi had hers all figured out within a few minutes! Jack, on the other hand, has yet to discover the foot brake! He is, however, very good at jumping off the scooter just before it collides with a stationary object! Ah, such a BOY!!

I know this one is blurry but I thought it was still a great "in-motion" shot of Jack on the scooter!

Inside our friend's snowmobile trailer. He was getting ready to leave for a five day trip up north and the kids were giving him a hand! They are so helpful!!

I woke up Christmas morning to the sound of little feet walking softly down the hallway towards my bedroom. When the footsteps stopped, I heard the soft, tiny voice of my son say,
"Good morning, Mommy! I sssooooo hungry!"
Then the little footsteps started down the hallway towards the kitchen. Suddenly, the footsteps came to an abrupt stop! That soft, tiny voice spoke again, saying,
"Wait! Wait a second!!" The voice grew louder!
"Boxes. Those boxes!" And it grew louder!
"I see BIG BOXES!" That soft, tiny voice was then transformed to a jubilant uproar!
"SANTA!! SANTA WAS HERE!" And those tiny feet came thundering back down the hallway towards my bedroom...

...We hope your Christmas was as magical as ours!

Christmas Eve morning was spent with Grandma and Papa Halyburton in Three Lakes. We came up to Three Lakes on the 21st and stayed until Christmas Eve. Then we headed back home Christmas Eve night to have Christmas morning at home. Here are a few photos from our morning in Three Lakes.
Lexi and her new Memory Game, which she loves and usually plays once a day!
Hhhuummmm...which present should I open next?!?

Playing with the new train set!

Jack was getting tired but couldn't stand the thought of leaving his train's side so he found a nice soft spot next to the train tracks to rest his weary head!!
He would, however, get a sudden burst of energy and was able to sit up to toot his train whistle!
The Happy Couple...aren't we cute?!

While we we up north for Christmas, we stopped in to play at the Northwoods Children's Museum in Eagle River. We have been there a few times before and the kids just love playing there!
Here is Jack playing with a model train set. We are lucky that this set is behind glass for he may try to bring it home with us every time we are there!! :-)

Lexi...gone fishing!
The only time he sat down the two hours we were there! And he only sat for about 7 seconds!
Brian and Jack, who are about to be put inside a big bubble!
Beautiful girl!

Lexi's preschool class had their annual Christmas Musical on December 17. The kids did a wonderful job! I was very impressed!! Lexi was snowball for one of her songs and she did a fantastic job!

We spent the Thanksgiving holiday with Brian's family this year. We were also able to celebrate Alexis' 5th Birthday!! Here are a few photos of the family!
