It was such a beautiful day today so the kids and I went for a walk after lunch. All the ducks and swans were out at Piala's Pond so we stopped to watch them swim.
(I only had my cell phone with us to capture the moment but it's not a bad photo, even for a cell phone!)

Jackson does not like taking showers. He seems a little afraid to the water falling down on him but the minute you turn the water off, he just loves it in there! He thinks it is so great how the doors open and close; I think he could play in there for hours! Playtime is usually over when he pinches his finger in the doors! It doesn't seem to bother him for too long because he always goes back in for more.
After breakfast this morning, I found him playing in the shower, once again! He was giggling and laughing at himself! How could I not capture this moment!?! Just look at that face!!

By the way, Jackson had his 15-month appointment on Wednesday. He had a few shots (poor little guy) and was given some new medicine for his cough (he still has a cough from February). He is 24 1/2 lbs (50th percentile) and 32 1/4" tall (90th percentile)!
He has four teeth, two on top and two on the bottom with two more on top that just broke through this week. He can say "Dad", "Cracker" and "Hi". Every now and then he says "Thank you" but it is kind of mumbled and I am probably the only one who can understand him! :) Otherwise, he is right on track and where he needs to be for his age!

Lexi drew her first drawing today. She drew it on her MagnaDoodle, not paper so I had to take a picture of it to show all of you! She told it was a picture of Jackson and then I asked again who it was and she said it was a pig! Whatever it is, I think it's wonderful! Our little artist!!

Lexi and I made our first of many trips to the salon yesterday! Lexi had her hair washed and cut. She also had some product put in before it was dried and styled. She thought she was a queen for a day; it was great!! I just love her little pixie-bob cut; it makes her look so grown up!
