The Halyburtons

We spent a beautiful weekend in Three Lakes with Brian's parents as well as Dustin, Tricia and Riley. The weather was warm and the colors were bright; it was a great time!

On Saturday, we went to the neighbor's house to visit the horses, pick apples and carrots!
The kids had a great time feeding Gypsy and Sky.

About two weeks ago, the kids started a new game with Lexi's bean-bag chair. They were having so much fun running and jumping, as you will be able to see in the video clip at the end of this post!

So...Jack had his first visit to Urgent Care last night. Lexi and Jack were playing yesterday afternoon and her hand collided with Jack's eye!! It looks much better today than it did yesterday but you can see that it is still a bit swollen! Anyway, the doctor said he will survive; no damage done to his eye, just the outside of the eye lid. What a trooper!!

What a typical Wisconsin weekend?!? It was sunny and in the 80's on Saturday...

...then cloudy and in the 60's on Sunday!! So we took advantage of the wacky weather the whole weekend and on Sunday we took the kids to the zoo! It was perfect weather; not too hot, not too cold and ALL the animals were outside. The kids loved it!

Taken just last week!

I know, I cannot believe it myself but it's true...Lexi started preschool today. She will only be attending Tuesdays and Thursdays this year. She has been so excited to start school!! It was the first thing she asks about this morning when she woke up!
