Here are a few lost photos and video clips of the kids playing in the flood water after all the rain we got last month.
It was a wonderful weekend to celebrate the Fourth of July! We took the kids to Whitewater for their annual 4th of July Parade on Friday morning. Lexi was a little shy about going up to get candy so she mostly sat on her Great Grandmother's lap for the parade. Jack worked the crowd and ate lots of crackers and candy! He would glance up occasionally at the parade when the fire trucks past by us and point at them and say, "TRUCK"!
Here is the Egnoski Clan, all enjoying the parade! The whole Egnoski family sat together for the parade and we had a great time! Tim, my brother, was the only one missing (he was out of town for the weekend).

The kids were very tired after all the festivities in Whitewater so instead of going to watch fireworks, we bought our own. We got the kids sparklers but Lexi thought they were going to be loud like fireworks. She stood on the porch with me with her hands over her ears while Brian and Jack lit the sparklers! Jack thought they were pretty cool, as you can tell by the look on his face!
One Friday afternoon and Saturday morning we decided to paint the kids playset. We have had this playset for about 1 year but couldn't decided on whether we should stain it or paint it. The paint won and now it looks great! Lexi really enjoyed helping Dad paint the low spots!
On Sunday we took the kids to a beach in Waukesha County park, not far from our house. I did not bring the camera because I didn't want it to get full of sand but we had a great time swimming with the kids and playing in the sand. Jack is pretty fearless in the water; he walked all the way out by himself until the water was up to his chest before he would turn around and head back to shore. Meanwhile, our little girl who just finished swimming lessons didn't go in past her knees!! Go figure!! She was having more fun building sandcastles!

We bought a new pool for the kids on Friday! Lexi loves her new Froggy pool; Jack, on the other hand, thinks the water is a bit too cold for him! I am sure once we are in the full swing of hot and humid summer days, he will love the Froggy pool too! :)
My great friend from Whitewater, Teauge and his new wife Carrie had their wedding on Saturday in Madison. The ceremony wasn't until 5:30 pm but here are a few photos of the weather we drove around to get to the ceremony...did I mention they had an OUTDOOR wedding?!?
The storm took a little break around 5:45 pm, just long enough for the beautiful ceremony to take place. Just as it was ending, more storm clouds rolled in and we all hurried to the reception...which was indoors! :)-1.JPG)

Safely indoors, the reception began with great food, refreshing drinks and many old friends.

Here is the groom's youngest brother, Ted. Ted and I were in the same class in school at Whitewater. He is one of my oldest and closest friends.
Here is Ted's girlfriend, Leah. They have been together since Brian and I got married but this is the first time we met her. She is just a doll and does a great job of keeping Ted in line! :)
And last but certainly not least, is Mack! Mack is the middle child of the "Devitt Trio". He was living in Colorado but just recently moved to good 'ol Wisconsin! I haven't seen him for a while so it was great to catch up!
Well, I have no pictures of the groom because he was a very busy guy at his reception and I had a hard time finding him. We had such a wonderful time and cannot wait to see all of you again!

Today was Lexi's last day of swim lessons at Swimtastics. She has improved a little since her first day but we have a ways to go before she is swimming on her own. We are going to give her the summer off and enroll again in the fall. Here are a few photos of her and her classmates on their last day!
